Please allow me to elaborate…
One of the first things you should take notice of is the fact that I don't have an enlarged photograph of myself plastered all over my website. You also won't read anywhere on my website or hear me talk about how many homes I have sold, that I am a multi-million dollar producer or that I sell a home every 24 hours. Why is that?
This is because I am very successful at providing exceptional service to my Clients and I don't need to brag about my sales history to generate business. Furthermore, I really do believe that you should work with a Real Estate Professional who focuses on providing exceptional service and delivering results by helping you with your real estate objectives, instead of someone who places more emphasis on marketing their image and discussing how many homes they've sold.
Did you know that the most successful companies have proven time and again that the experience of buying outweighs the rhetoric of empty promises? Everyone sells things, but the company that stands behind the way they do things makes all the difference.
For instance, if you want to buy an iPhone, where would you go if distance wasn't an issue? Walmart….. or….. the Apple store?
Not sure? Close your eyes and tell me, what is the difference between the two? One delivers a kind of wonderment, and the other, well, at least for me, creates a panic attack. Now, there is nothing wrong with Walmart if you are looking to save, but if you want exceptional service and a great experience, it's not exactly the first place to look.
The Apple Store, my favorite store in the entire world, is the best example of all. Within the clean, white walls demonstrating the acme of spatial winsome, you can find every grown-up toy one might require to fill the consumers soul. Do they have thirty cash registers or shorter lines? Maybe not, but the service they provide, well, it makes me feel like a rock star and it feels good to be there.
So, I will make this radical statement: me as a Real Estate Professional, I don't sell houses. Instead, I guide people through the largest transaction they are going to partake in and I make the experience of selling their existing home and finding their dream home as exciting as possible because of the service I provide and the knowledge and experience that I bring to the table. Now, how each of us delivers these services to our clients is vastly different.
However, the sad fact is that as long as many of my competitors believe they are just selling houses and shelling them out in vast numbers from one person to the next, they will never see beyond quantity over quality.
So, as you mull over the somewhat controversial position I have taken, think of things this way: the next time you’re thinking about the type of service you’d like from your Realtor…..do you Walmart or Apple?
